Admissions to Madison University

Welcome to the Admissions Building

Admissions to Madison University:
Freshman wishing to enter Madison University must obtain a C average or better in high school. Transfer students must enter with at least a 2.0 GPA. Students are required to have no less than 10 skill points. 


Tuition & Fees:
Full-time Students (12-18 credits)
Tuition: $3500 per semester
Fees: $350 per semester
Room & Board: $2200 per semester

Part-time Students (Less than 12 credits)
Tuition: $750 per class credit
Fees: $100 per class credit
Room & Board: Not included


Grants and Scholarships: 

Grants:
Any student from a qualifying low-income family may apply for grants to aid their tuition bill. In order to continue receiving aid, students must maintain a 3.0 (B) average while attending Madison University. 

Scholarships:
Various scholarships are awarded to all qualified students.

Presidential Scholarship
Awarded to entering freshman students who have shown exception academic ability in high school regardless of their financial need. Once a student is enrolled this scholarship is awarded for four years as long as they have a cumulative GPA of at least a 3.25.

Deans Scholarship
Awarded to students who have shown exception academic ability regardless of their financial need. Once a student is enrolled this scholarship is awarded for the duration of their schooling as long as the cumulative GPA is at least a 3.25.

Alumni Scholarship
Entering students who are sons and daughters of alumni are considered for this award. The amount of this scholarship varies and is awarded on a yearly basis. An application is required and must be submitted to the alumni relations director. Awards are determined by the Madison Alumni Association Committee (MAAC). A separate application must be submitted each year by March 15.
